With our pharmacy’s approach of modernizing and optimizing medicine and our focus on patient experience, we are constantly adding new formats to connect with our clients’ health.
The ConnectingOntario ClinicalViewer is a new platform that the pharmacy is implementing into our services. This system is a secure, web-based portal that provides real-time access to digital health records including dispensed medications, laboratory results, hospital visits, Local Health Integration Networks’ (LHIN) Home and Community Care Services, mental health care information, and diagnostic imaging reports and images.
How this platform makes our pharmacy more connected to your health.
For example, Online access to COVID-19 Vaccination Information and COVID-19 lab test results can be accessed by Authorized Ontario health care providers with access to the Digital Health Drug Repository via ClinicalConnect™, ConnectingOntario ClinicalViewer or an electronic medical record system can access COVID-19 vaccination information from COVaxON (the ministry’s provincial solution for COVID-19 vaccination information) through the digital health drug repository in near real-time.
Authorized Ontario health care professionals can access COVID-19 lab test results stored in Ontario Laboratories Information System (OLIS) in near real-time through OLIS viewing solutions (e.g. ClinicalConnect™, ConnectingOntario ClinicalViewer, eHealth Portal, OLIS to EMR, eCHN).
